Mary Anderson
We bring years of corporate and consulting experience including marketing, technology innovation, brand management, research, project management, community development, franchise operations and much more. We're also collaborators and believe an inclusive digital future is possible when we work together.
We are supported by a team of digital experts ready to provide technical assistance to small businesses.
During the height of COVID, we began helping small businesses pivot their marketing and operations to respond to a new online, remote reality. It's been estimated that consumer and business digital adoption vaulted forward five years in around eight weeks. * We recognized the correlation between small business digital capabilities and survival. The Connected Commerce Council's Digitally Driven report on the "digital safety net" also supported this.
In 2021-2022 we piloted RISE Digital Accelerator programs with several organizations to refine our successful approach to digital capability building and identify where small businesses need the most assistance. Across industry sectors, the need for digital marketing capabilities rose to the top. Our programs focus on accelerating capabilities in digital marketing that are now imperatives for small businesses.

WHAT BUSINESSES SAY
Owner, Printing Business
You helped me demystify SEO. I’ve built my own website, but I didn’t understand this part at all.
Owner, Trucking Service
All small businesses need this kind of education - this is how marketing is done now. Everything is virtual, electronic, and on the internet.
Owner, Food Manufacturer
I don’t have time to figure out everything on my own.
You helped me jump the wall.
The Digital Safety Net is real. However, the net could — and must — be bigger, more robust, and more inclusive.
Small businesses must invest time in selecting the right digital tools for their business; technology companies must help small businesses access the right tools, and policymakers must invest more money in public-private partnerships that create and support small business resource networks.
